Luca missed out but ended the year with wins over the 7th and 8th place finishers. He should come into next year ranked top 10 and have the confidence that he is a real AA

Same thing with Pitzer with all the top heavyweights graduating, he needs to come in with that confidence that he has right now not how we wrestled earlier in the year
Yeah, wow. I just looked. Pretty much just Trumble, Feldman, Kueter, and Mullen return. Thats crazy
and Kueter is still tbd on potentially playing football in the fall AFAIK
Bastida will be coming off redshirt however, and he is definitely the favorite to win the weight class
Mac dominant to take 7th. Buchanan and Cardenas graduate, and everyone else at the weight returns. He is likely the number 5 guy going into next year and I think he comes into the year with his sights on the top of the podium
Yeah, I see AJ as the clear top guy, but the next 4, including Mac, are pretty interchangeable

Rocky Elam will be back next year at 197 and Cody Merril who lost to Buchanan 2-0 at the Soldier Salute will be coming off redshirt. I am also curious where Sinclair who started the season 197 but finished at 184 wrestles next year.
Not sure his age when he got to college but next will be his 6th year, the free year and a medical redshirt this year

Crazy match. Hate to see Gable lose but loved the excitement for that match. It was an incredible 3 days at Nationals.
The Hendrickson win going to be huge for Ok St and David Taylor recruiting. I thought it would take a few years for Ok St to challenge PSU. Feel it may now come as soon as next year. This will be DT’s first year being coach while guys have option to enter transfer portal.
Next year will also be much different with all the COVID seniors eligibility wrapped up this year.

It won't be close next year. PSU has too many returning points and high-level replacements for all the guys they are losing except HWT.

They are returning 7 AAs and have two guys who were top P4P recruits to take 2 of the vacated spots and the only question mark in the lineup is HWT.
Yep. I’m well aware. The gap will continue to close. It’s my opinion and what makes sports so fun!
It was enjoyable to watch and I am it came out as it did. More importantly A.J. Ferrari was not in the finals.

Unbelievable Ono from Japan announced he will wrestle for PSU next year.
