What do these three things have in common . A lot of people seem proud to say I never watch the NBA or I’ve never seen an episode... , well guess what you’re really missing out .
Last nights Houston ot win over GS was just a great game of bb . The game displayed great offense and defense played by amazing bb players giving 110% effort . I just can’t understand why any bb fan doesn’t watch and appreciate the skills of these players .
As far as GOT and Avengers goes those not watching are just missing out on some of the greatest entertainment ever made . Next up Cersei !

Idk if we were watching the same game but the iso ball with harden at the top in the fourth and OT was not good basketball. Nearly lost them the game

I watched my first game in a while, game two of the Blazers-Nuggets. No, there wasn't a ton of D being played but it was exciting and the level of play was extremely high. I was a big fan of the Drexler-era Trailblazers, I'm adopting them as my new favorite.

Also, Enes Kanter has come a long way from his days backing up Steven Adams in OKC.

Being that there’s never been a NBA team in Pgh I don’t have any rooting interest for any team which takes away some of the enjoyment of watching , but there’s just no denying the skill these players have . Maybe when JC starts putting guys in the league we’ll have more players other than Adams and Brad W to root for .

Why do you care what people you don’t know watch? Seriously, how could this possibly be a concern of yours.

Some of us don’t like the nba and choose to do something else with our time. Get over it.

Your loss , don't worry , I’m over it .

Last time I looked he dropped 41 on them and Houston won the game .

41 points 32 shots is a real accomplishment... you got me.

The nba is a garbage product. It’s intolerable to watch. There was nothing else on to watch last night and I barely made it through 10 minutes without shutting it off.

The gameplay is just so bad

Maybe try OWN or Oxygen .

Ps . When you have 2 or 3 guys on you the second you touch the ball scoring 41 pts is quite remarkable .

Not every team in the playoffs plays the same style. I agree with the sentiment that iso ball is boring to watch...takes me back to the days where AI was taking all of his team's shots. But there are teams like the Blazers and Sixers who offer a more balanced scoring approach. Hoping those two ends up in the finals as no one else from the west interests me and the Sixers and Bucks are the teams I want to see from the east.

I prefer food network and lifetime.... Every once in a while a good movie comes on the Hallmark channel.

lets just to agree to disagree on the NBA. I’m fully onboard with the Avengers. Big marvels guy. Ive greatly enjoyed all the movies being on tv surrounding the release of endgame

Food Network is the absolute worst. Unfortunately it's what's on in my house 90% of the time.

I think the fact that nothing ever changes and it’s literally the same thing repetitively is what annoys me the most... and I hate the kids cooking shows. None of them are any good (and rightfully so they are children) if I’m going to have to watch it I’d at least like to learn something I don’t already know

Man cave is a necessity unless you like to watch shows like Teen Moms , 600 lb , Housewife’s, Runway , and cooking shows !

Worry more about yourself, less about others. Life will be more enjoyable.

I have to e dude soccer fans on here telling us that it’s great and we are missing out, now I have to deal with nba fans telling me the same.

I hate to break to you , but no one really cares what you like or don’t like or how you spend your time . Being that your on a bb board of a team that really hasn’t done much the last 8-10 yrs figured you might be interested in some entertaining bb , but hey enjoy your day pondering what recruit Pitt will wiff on next !

Lol, that’s exactly my point. No one cares what anyone else likes or doesn’t like. Except you, since you posted about how we should like the nba.

Don’t tell us what to like.

I suggest that anyone whose interested in watching very talented guys playing a game that your interested enough in to read a message board about a very mediocre ( over the last 10 yrs ) college bb program should enjoy .
You seem to be taking this very personal , you can watch whatever the f... you want and no where did I tell you what to watch . Enjoy the rest of your day .

If you don't watch and you hate then don't act like you know what you're talking about.

I watched a game called "slam ball" on tv this weekend. college game, actually on tv. its 2 on 2 and you basically slap a ball onto a little trampoline and the other team has to do the same before it hits the ground.

this was an actual sport, being played on tv, on a college campus in front of a crowd.. im not sure which is worse, this actually happened or I watched it on tv.

I guess watching harden or curry take 8 steps without dribbling would be considered entertaining when comparing it to a sport like slam ball.

You're some old fart who likes fouls and 70 pt games.
lol, who likes fouls?

but while we are on this point, I did like the knicks in the late 80's and into the early part of 90's. a low scoring team that fouled a lot.. Ewing was fun as we all know but when Oakley came over, I loved him for new York. guys like starks, LJ later on, X man for a year, of course Charles Smith later on, that ugly alien looking point guard, bald dude that looked like the enemy in "Enemy Mine."

That was a cool team at that time when teams in the NBA were scoring 130 ppg..

My point is that the NBA is better than ever. The product has never been better. Every single team has a good to great player. Every playoff game has been entertaining.

If you don't like the NBA because of the style or the classic "they don't play defense" then you're just being a hater. Not saying you're hating, just saying in general.

Let me as you this... how do you stop 7' Kevin Durant who can blow by you or pull up from 30 feet? What kind of defense is supposed to be played here?

Ugh those Knicks teams were so boring (other than when they would fight the Heat.) Give me Riley Lakers over Riley Knicks any day, there is nothing better than watching great passing imho.

Watching a 7 footer gallop down the floor and insane handles and jam on 2 guys is fun to watch too

I enjoyed the NBA in the 80's more than I do now. lake show, celts, the hawks were fun, I said the knicks already, even Clyde the Glide and the trailblazers..

That's my opinion, we are all entitled to it. you really like the nba now, great for you. a lot of us don't, if it makes you feel better to label us as haters then i'll oblige..

Kevin Durant hitting 30'ers? Come on man, stop with this nonsense.

NBA players are a lot more talented now though I know what you are saying about 80s/90s NBA. I used to love that too but its mostly because we were young and that's all we knew. The game is much better today and more popular than ever....though I won't watch till the NBA Finals.

athletes in every sport are more talented, bigger, faster, taller, stronger, than they were in the 80's. pick a sport, its true across the board.. that doesn't make the product more entertaining, to me anyways..

KD this postseason

36-5-5

44% from 3
51 % from 2
92% from FT

He can pull up anywhere. He can whatever he wants. He would body bag these "great" defenders in the 80s.

I love the 80s NBA. I love the current NBA! The stuff in between though had some rough years. Pretty boring during the grind it out Kobe/Shaq years, imho.

I like the pace being back up again now.

John Koncak would own him, hold him to single digits.. Tom Chambers would make him his B*tch..

best dunk in the history of the nba. watch it and bow your head in respect..
