Notre Dame isn't a winner but Michigan is? Michigan has played in two BCS level bowls the past ten years, and went three years without a bowl. Notre Dame has played in three BCS level bowls (including a national championship game) in the past ten years and went two years without a bowl. Note Dame played in the Fiesta Bowl last year, Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. Please explain how Michigan is a winner but Notre Dame is not.

-Notre Dame has won 1 National Title since 1977, a total of 40 years.

-Notre Dame is 4-12 in their last 16 bowl games

-Notre Dame has only finished ranked 3 times in the last 6 years under Maniac Kelly, and is currently unranked again right now

-The year Notre Dame played for the National Title and lost 42-14 to Alabama in a complete laugher of a game, Ohio State was also undefeated that year, but not eligible to play. Oregon also lost in overtime off a bad call allowing Notre Dame to back into the title game only to get completely blown off the field
