I think being a College town has a lot to do with it. Combined with tradition, but they are not competing with any pro teams.

It's Nebraska. Watching bad football is 10X-better than anything else going on there.

It’s funny how line movement can be such a predictor in these games. Northwestern coming home after a huge victory opened at -6 over a winless Nebraska team and then gets bet down to -3/3.5. Guys were literally lining up to bet Nebraska all week.

Nebraska fans amongst the most loyal in all of sports, almost unbelievable that they were on a 1-11 streak coming into today.

Nebraska fb is a giant family. They plan their lives around fb Saturdays. They get grouchy when they lose but when you've won for decades, a little resilience is easy.

I watched some of the Vanderbilt - Florida game earlier and there were clearly more Florida fans there than Vanderbilt fans.

And I don't mean like when 12,000 nitters show up at Heinz Field and claim they were in the majority.

I saw that too.

In both of those games the amount of colors of the visiting teams in the stands were very noticeable.

Hard to believe my Nebraska +5.5 is now in jeapordy.

Really going to be tough for Frost to get his guys up for Minnesota next week if they somehow blow this one.

Classiest folks. I felt horrible for their fans at their game at PSU in 2002. They were treated terribly. I was actually embarrassed to be there, but they never lost their heads and stayed so classy. Total respect for them!

I think Ohio State has the best traveling fanbase in the nation followed by ND, Nebraska, and the Yankees

You forgot the Cubs, they are #1 in that regard in my opinion. I don’t even think it’s that close.
