Am I the only one who is nervous as heck - already - about the Cuse game?

I keep expecting to wake up and find that we're playing YSU in the opener tomorrow - and that all this 5-and-1 record and good Pitt vibes stuff has just been a nice long dream...

OK - one positive prediction for tomorrow. This is the game where Jester Weah hauls in a long pass!! You can do it Jester.

You are right to be nervous. Syracuse always plays us tough AND they played LSU tough. This will not likely be an easy game.

+1 This Pitt team isn't talented enough to guarantee victory against any power conference team on the road. I find the talk of Pitt needs to blow them out silly. Ill take a win any way we can get it TBH.

I am nervous as well. In another thread, I called for a Cuse win.

No such thing as a straight upward trend in CFB. Teams that are growing into contenders always take a step backward before moving forward again.

I wanna be wrong.....but Pitt lays an egg today.

I am worried about their True FR QB. Nobody is talking about him but he's been one of the best FR QBs in the country. He's a big time playmaker with his arm and legs. Maybe a little similar to CJ Beathard. This kid is going to be an absolute star. However, he's young and can make mistakes. Lets hope we force a few interceptions.

I'm hoping for an easy victory, but it will probably be tough. One thing we haven't really seen yet with Narduzzi though is Pitt looking really bad against an average or worse team. I'm talking like the days of trailing against MAC schools and such. I can not imagine him to be very pleasant to be around if that ever happens. I think his attitude alone is good enough to at the very least give us an advantage we haven't had in quite some time.

It's most accurate to say that Syracuse has played us tough the last two times we've played them up there. The games before that up there were a 31 point Pitt win, a 10 point Pitt win, a 10 point Pitt win, a two overtime Pitt loss, and a 24 point Pitt win. Four out of five double digit Pitt wins. Not really all that close.
