Looks like Tony the Tiger's ambiguously vegan cousin Trevor
Agree, if Gallagher & Heather really want to attract New & Old Boosters, Sponsors, and some Alumni with Will & Testament giving to Rebuild the Football Program, they both should be aware just how awful Pederson Poison reached so low no one wanted to supported or give money to Pitt Football and unfortunately Barnes did not help bring in anymore confidence of his fleeing back home to take care of Mother? Good riddance to both, but Pitt's Athletic Leadership has made many Errors even as it Return to Winning With Attitude in Football, and now the setbacks in Basketball has Pitt waits on seeing how Stallings does or is done in a few years???You seem to see that Panther Paw used a lot as well.Yet I have never seen where it was an official logo for Pitt. But it's not bad for a secondary logo. One thing I can tell you Pitt better not ever make the same mistake again in getting rid of the script.I don't think anyone would be that dumb.
I loved that Panther head .... get that guy to meet up with Pitt again... the last time he did it was Steve...![]()

This is my all-time favorite concept. From the colors to both the prowling Panther and Panther head logo, it's flawless. Hopefully we adopt something like this one day.
Anyone know if Eastern Michigan used a Torch Cut font?I have great confidence that whatever new logo they come up with... will be... absolutely... terrible.
Y'know, coming back and seeing this a few hours later (on computer rather than phone), I kinda dig this. It would make a cool t-shirt. At least, as cool as some of those rather strange "Pittsburgh" sports t-shirts I've been seeing in local mall kiosks the last couple years, some of which have included what appear to be Pitt shirts (but they're oddly generic so I'm really not sure) and the "412" shirts I see around...
My wife is a proud Pitt alum but hates our colors (all the various varieties). She somehow found purple and pink Pitt logo shirts and has a St. Pats Day green edition cap with the block Pitt logo... other than some plain grey tees and sweatshirts with plain "university of Pittsburgh" text, these are the only Pitt clothing she'll wear.Good news, everyone... They hired the 1997 Pittsburgh Pirates Marketing Team and decided to illogically add red as a new team color...

How about combining the two-the Script Pitt and the panther from the second design ? The second design looks better stylistically.
If I didn't live nearby Pittsburg State, I'd take you seriouslyGood news, everyone... They hired the 1997 Pittsburgh Pirates Marketing Team and decided to illogically add red as a new team color...

Didn't they steal the dinocat logo for their field, or such?If I didn't live nearby Pittsburg State, I'd take you seriously![]()
No. They're mascot is a gorilla. They actually are pretty competitive at the D2 level.Didn't they steal the dinocat logo for their field, or such?
That's it! Thanks! No. They're mascot is a gorilla. They actually are pretty competitive at the D2 level.

I think you're thinking of Whitmer High School in Ohio. It was pretty obvious too.

IIRC, they were able to settle it and Whitmer and changed the logo.
Someone else actively used the dinocat? No. They're mascot is a gorilla. They actually are pretty competitive at the D2 level.

I know this is fake news. Luke Getsy never actually put on a helmet.
