New AD mean new Panther logo?

I have great confidence that whatever new logo they come up with... will be... absolutely... terrible.

If you hear anything about a new logo anytime soon, Pitt athletics is in deep trouble.

No reason to change any Logo just Market The Hell of "The Pitt Script" that just won National Selection Awards and do what Narduzzi wants to do, just like what Johnny Major's demanded!
The New Athletic Director should be smart enough to conform unlike Pederson's at Pitt & Nebraska Egomaniac Poison! Pitt has been through Two Putz's at AD and that needs to avoided. Heather has to be an improvement over Pederson & Barnes, not exactly a high bar to overcome!
The one thing I would change is that Stupid Chipmunk Mascot look Pederson Redesigned, another Pederson's Poor Taste Selections and why he is Unemployed Today and his Buyouts were worth every penny to get rid of him at Nebraska and Pitt.
Any version below is just fine so long as Narduzzi Approves it!

You seem to see that Panther Paw used a lot as well.Yet I have never seen where it was an official logo for Pitt.But it's not bad for a secondary logo. One thing I can tell you Pitt better not ever make the same mistake again in getting rid of the script.I don't think anyone would be that dumb.
Agree, if Gallagher & Heather really want to attract New & Old Boosters, Sponsors, and some Alumni with Will & Testament giving to Rebuild the Football Program, they both should be aware just how awful Pederson Poison reached so low no one wanted to supported or give money to Pitt Football and unfortunately Barnes did not help bring in anymore confidence of his fleeing back home to take care of Mother? Good riddance to both, but Pitt's Athletic Leadership has made many Errors even as it Return to Winning With Attitude in Football, and now the setbacks in Basketball has Pitt waits on seeing how Stallings does or is done in a few years???
Eastern Michigan had many problems too and had the highest Title IX-Clery Act Fines at $300,000 until Penn State broke that Historic Record at $2.4 million! Heather is from Canton, Ohio she knows like Narduzzi from Youngstown on what is expected and respected unlike NebraKASS & OreGONE Former Pitt AD's?
After all, the Steelers looked to Ohio when they hired Noll from Dayton and Cleveland backgrounds and brought in Kevin Colbert from Pittsburgh and RMU, and Cowher played Special Teams on the Browns.
This is my all-time favorite concept. From the colors to both the prowling Panther and Panther head logo, it's flawless. Hopefully we adopt something like this one day.

I have a flag with the first logo hanging in my office except my version looks to be sporting a comb over.
Y'know, coming back and seeing this a few hours later (on computer rather than phone), I kinda dig this. It would make a cool t-shirt. At least, as cool as some of those rather strange "Pittsburgh" sports t-shirts I've been seeing in local mall kiosks the last couple years, some of which have included what appear to be Pitt shirts (but they're oddly generic so I'm really not sure) and the "412" shirts I see around...Lets bring this guy back. Good news, everyone... They hired the 1997 Pittsburgh Pirates Marketing Team and decided to illogically add red as a new team color...
My wife is a proud Pitt alum but hates our colors (all the various varieties). She somehow found purple and pink Pitt logo shirts and has a St. Pats Day green edition cap with the block Pitt logo... other than some plain grey tees and sweatshirts with plain "university of Pittsburgh" text, these are the only Pitt clothing she'll wear.Good news, everyone... As such whenever we are watching our football games of the last couple years she sees our assistants and back up qb wearing the red Pitt caps (to be easily seen by the signal callers on the field)... and mentions how she'd really like one of them.

So far as the logo... I like the retro panther head. But, honestly, just ditch them all only have script as the logo. No panther logo is necessary.
Those top two have rabbit ears!
