Announcement here:

Starting in May, Jim Hammett will be joining the site staff as a lead writer. You may know Jim as @FloodCityPanther - he’s been on the site a long time; he knows Pitt well, he knows the boards well and he’s got a good handle on what’s going on with the football and basketball programs. He’s also got a background in journalism and he has written for the Cardiac Hill blog for a few years; I think he’s going to be a really good addition to our coverage of Pitt football, basketball and recruiting.
