Talks about how changes in Coordinators can make or break a Head Coach in 2016, and has Penn State's Franklin future dependent on success of New OC Moorhead. Also, talks about how New DC Shoop at UTenn both have a future as Head Coach Candidates. They chose just 10 OC/DC and Canada not mentioned. Since Pitt had Chaney and is playing Penn State I put up excerpts on both, but go Link for full details.

GEORGIA
New OC: Jim Chaney (Pittsburgh)
Old: Brian Schottenheimer (fired, from Mark Richt’s staff)
“Expect Jim Chaney to keep Georgia's offense very balanced. What Chaney has done well over the years is adapt his scheme to fit the personnel, and not the other way around. When he had Drew Brees and Kyle Orton at Purdue, he spread the ball around with a top 10 passing attack. When he was at Arkansas and Pitt, he built the offense around the ground game..........
OREGON
New DC: Brady Hoke (unemployed, formerly Michigan head coach)
Old: Don Pellum (demoted)
“Oregon hired Brady Hoke to fix a defense that gave up the most points in a single Oregon season of football last year. The biggest change for Oregon under Hoke will be moving from a 3-4 defense to a 4-3. The Ducks have a ton of talent along the defensive line to make it work, headlined by junior Henry Mondeuax. At linebacker things get interesting. The Ducks lose all four opening day starters at linebacker from last season, and now will be switching schemes too. Hoke has said this spring he won't pin himself to a specific position and instead he'll bounce around to get a feel for where he's needed most.”

PENN STATE
New OC: Joe Moorhead (Fordham)
Old: John Donovan (fired)
“Joe Moorhead’s primary task as Penn State’s new offensive coordinator is working around an offensive line that has been shaky at best over the past few seasons. His offense will use multiple tempos and, on average, will be more fast-paced than what the Nittany Lions did under Donovan. Young quarterbacks Trace McSorley and Tommy Stevens don’t have the arm strength of the departing Christian Hackenberg but they do have more mobility, which Moorhead will look to take advantage of. Moorhead’s coverage-read passing schemes should allow those quarterbacks to get the ball out more quickly than Hackenberg did in the progression reads under Donovan. “Penn State will look to once again give plenty of touches to stud tailback Saquon Barkley but, unlike last season, when the Nittany Lions put extra tight ends (or occasionally an extra lineman) to help the offensive line block, they will use more 10 and 11 personnel to spread the field and keep defenders out of the box. Moorhead and new offensive line coach Matt Limegrover will utilize an inside zone running game.”
TENNESSEE
New DC: Bob Shoop (Penn State)
Old: John Jancek (fired)
“I don’t think Tennessee’s biggest difference under defensive coordinator Bob Shoop will be anything from a schematic standpoint. Several of Tennessee’s defenders have said Shoop uses many of the same principles as predecessor John Jancek, just with different names. I do think you’ll see some minor schematic differences here and there — look for star senior linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin to line up in a few different spots in certain packages, for example, and possibly a bit more of the dime package — but the biggest difference will be in the defense’s general aggressiveness. Vols head coach Butch Jones is generally a fan of continuity and therefore thinks long and hard before making any major changes, but ultimately he decided that a more aggressive defense would be needed to take Tennessee to the next level. And Shoop is nothing if not extremely aggressive. Look for the Vols to bring much more pressure and put up bigger sack, tackle-for-loss and turnover numbers in 2016. That’s what Shoop does. He brings heat.”
