Most likely this confirms that they are done with 2019 class and grad transfer recruiting and the focus is now 100% class of 2020 recruiting (unless Puff Johnson reclassifies and commits for 2019).

I don't generally pay attention to recruiting blogs and such but do people think it is a real possibility that Johnson would reclassify?

So, slightly upgraded vs last year?

Perhaps. Or, perhaps more than slightly upgraded if--

1. Any of the freshmen turn out to have been underrated.
2. Hamilton proves to be better than Chukwuka
3. Murphy and Drumgoole combined bring more from 3-point land than Frame did last season.
4. Johnson and Mcgowens are improved.

I am holding out hope for a W-L improvement from last season's14-19 to, hopefully, around 17-16 this coming season.

It's definitely more than "slightly upgraded" IMO.
1. The returning starters will all be improved.
2, We lost Frame, but Murphy should provide the three threat and
he has guard skills which Frame did not.
3, Hamilton will be a major addition, and I feel will give us two Bigs
who can compete in the ACC much better than last year.
4. Ellison will be replaced not only by Champagnie, but Toney will
also more than fill this slot since he won't be forced inside.
5. Drumgoole easily replaces anything Davis was able to give us.
6. Coulibaly can be brought along slowly, and anything he brings
us will be more than what we had there last year...which was
basically zilch.

17 wins is doable IMO. How many more wins in the ACC? If last year's
team won three in season, no way IMO that we can't double that total (6).

Curtis Aiken, Jr listed as Redshirt Freshman.

Women’s basketball New Official roster not up as of yesterday. They have 7 new players including 3 bigs (6-3/6-4) so their new roster should be interesting to see.

Women's roster is there - you just have to use the drop down to get it

Need to change the year

Thanks on note on women's roster. The official site tech guru needs to change the default to the new women's roster. The men's roster already defaults to the new roster as both should.

The three new bigs (a 6-3 and two 6-4s) plus the JUCO AA guard are the highlight of the new women's roster additions!

It would seem they have solved some serious defficiencies from last year. We shall see this fall.

If she has that hasn't been announced anywhere. As of a month or so ago she was certainly planning on coming back.

Just speculating, I have no info—

It isn't grades as she made the all ACC academic team last season.

Perhaps inadvertently left off when roster was revised?

Perhaps she graduated and is grad transferring somewhere?

Perhaps she believed she was recruited over when the JUCO AA guard was signed and with Asia Bugg getting a 6th year she wouldn't be getting last season's PT due to the crowd at guard?

It certainly does seems strange that there have been no announcements.
