Pitt should take a small fraction of the money and hire a PR guy with a focus on wrestling. Very little coverage of Pitt wrestling, despite a roster of Wpial and Pa guys and some national recognition. Unlike the other “non-revenue” sports, there really is a fan base for wrestling in Western Pa.
If the Ohio State match had been in prime time, (instead of the ridiculous 3pm start) and there was some advanced coverage by the local media, you could have packed the Fieldhouse.
