-Offensive players leaving for the draft by Team

1) North Carolina-6 Most in the country
2) Clemson-5
3) Virginia Tech-4
4) Miami-4

-These 4 teams have more players on offense in the NFL draft combine then Alabama, Ohio State, and everyone not named USC or Michigan. Oklahoma State would have had at least 4 on there if all their top players didnt decide to return to school. This might have been the most loaded the ACC has been on offense all time in a single season. Joe Yearby, a former 1000 yard rusher for Miami, did not get invited, which would have given Miami 5.

-Defense will get some breathing room next year with all that talent taken.

-Also interesting, Sam Darnold is widespread the consensus best prospect in college right now from USC. CBS NFL big board has Max Browne the #4 QB in the country headed to the combine next year.

-Youngstown State also lost a pair of defenders to the NFL draft. We open with them next year.

UNC lost DC Chizik too.

Well we certainly lose alot as well. These teams all have plenty of talent. The ACC is tough!

-Those are all time School Records for offensive players drafted in a single class for North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Clemson. Meaning what we witnessed this year offensively in the ACC wont be happening again anytime soon as the offenses will regress big time.

Interesting point regarding Browne

ahhh... I got it now. Yeah... that is phenomenal looking at it that way.

It's a serious question. I'm basing al my projections based on which team has the most Pure Elite Amazing Speed.

-Its funny you should mention that. Because the best Pitt offense of All Time (last year) was also statistically the fastest Pitt offense of All time. And the offense this year is even faster.

-You see, when you recruit athletes that can constantly burn defenses with Elite Speed, your big play ability is off the charts. Do you think it was some type of luck that Pitt played its hardest schedule in probably at least 25+ years last year and put up the best offensive production ever?

-Now you see, if we had Coaches that could recruit real athletes with speed on defense like we have on offense, you will see us contending for the playoffs. We are getting there on defense with athletes. Just not quite the Elite class athletes on offense, yet. But there is a major difference in speed and athletic ability on defense in the last 2 classes.

-Pitt's Top 4 athletes would absolutely smoke just about every major team in division 1 football in Speed. I know 3 of them for sure would beat Saquon Barkley in the 40 and in the 100M, because I have the state title track numbers to back it up.

Agree. We are losing a ton on offense, in both experience and skill. Good thing these other teams are losing so much offensively because it will be tough to score this season like we did last season. Hopefully the defense can make some stops this year.

Really wish Rudolph and Washington for OK St left too - but really it is more important for Pitt to take care of business in the ACC.

Pretty annoying they haven't been able to beat UNC or really even be competitive against Miami much lately - big chances to get over those humps having them at home and with the starters they lose this year.

I say this though knowing Pitt loses their share of starters too, and can't assume victory against the likes of GT/Syracuse/Duke whom they've fared well against lately.
