NFL Draft Next year, Check out the updated player rankings now

What's dumb is that people attack because you didn't post a link. Or they get upset because you used multiple sources to put your post together. The simple fact is we played some really top level QB/WR combo's this year and many will be drafted at the upper level of the NFL draft at their positions.

Now that doesn't give our defense a free pass but it does give me hope that next year will be better. A lot of our competition will have significant losses on offense so hopefully we see our defense step up in performance.
That isn't why. The reason is: he does this with everything. He flat out makes stuff up and then tries to change the criteria or claim something different when he is called out. There were no "updated rankings" because he just chose to apply whatever he wanted and make claims that fit an argument he had already put together. Then, when he started posting links of his choosing (from the "15 different links") they didn't back up his claims.

-So you did not see the 4 QB's I mentioned in the Top 5 of the NFL draft? Buy a pair

-I was on target this year. Like I said, If these 5 teams all find another All American 1st or 2nd round NFL draft QB for next season, Ill eat my shoe.

-Virginia Tech's offense has been a colossal disaster for years. They pulled a player out of JUCO to turn it around 180. I have serious doubts all these teams have a bench filled with NFL QB's. But that's me. Virginia Tech hasnt put a QB in the NFL since Mike Vick. North Carolina has put 3 QB's in the NFL the last 40 years. And they are going to put a QB in the league 2 years in a row. Call me highly skeptical of these teams finding All American replacements.
100% wrong.

You literally do not even follow college/NFL football. You just make wild claims without even an inkling of knowledge.

-Oh yea, I forgot Tyrod Taylor from Virginia Tech. 6th round draft pick. So Tech has 1 since Vick. Missed that guy

Tyrod Taylor starting NFL QB? You forgot him? How about Logan Thomas? He was drafted in the 4th round and is still in the league.

So you "forgot" VT has produced 2 starting NFL QBs, a 4th round QB, and 3 other QBs who were (at least) signed to NFL practice squads in the last 15 years? So only 2 of the 7 QBs they have had since Vick didn't get NFL time. Terrible track record.

I think "forgot" and "had no freaking clue" have different definitions, @steel_curtain

-Practice players. The other player you mentioned has 1 completion in his NFL career. 1

The secondary has been bad but this is easily the best lineup of QB/WRs combos this program has ever faced. Almost every week, we've either had to go up against an NFL QB, NFL WR or both. As good as we think Peterman and Weah have been playing, they would be a joy to go up against compared to what we've been seeing.

There are many football people who feel that quarters coverage is becoming obsolete as offenses continue to evolve with multiple variations of the spread and the trend of teams to use big, athletic outside receivers and lightning fast, field-stretching slot receivers. Our pass D has been the poster child for that thought this season. UNC, OkSU, etc. will be breaking in new players at QB and WR, but the systems, and philosophies, will be the same.

Now if we can get some bigger, more athletic DBs on the outside and at FS, guys that can at least compete one on one against bigger receivers, it will make a huge difference.
