Nike bows to snowflake Colin

In other words, he shouldn't have run.
You know what. I'll say it again. You're over the top insane. You seem to think that you know some secret code to my words. My words mean exactly what they say. There is no underlying meaning about hatred for Obama because he is black. I'm sick of you implying that.

Read my words. Don't try to read my mind with YOUR inherent biases.

Again, that's not an excuse for failing to try. The haters were a small percentage. I never mentioned parties. I was talking race. After all, that was the topic.
How did he fail to try?

He spoke more to racial issues than any other president and unity.

But - as I mentioned- what you and others wanted was him to denounce blacks - as that’s the unity you wanted.
The ostrich approach

Please don't speak erroneously of what I wanted.

What did he say about race that was unifying? Nothing notable.

What he should have said was something like this:

"I've lived in both worlds being black and raised by white grandparents. I have the opportunity to share my experiences with each world to help them better understand the perspectives of the other. My circumstances and the trust given to me by my election will hopefully give me credibility to both."

Then, instead of jumping to conclusions favoring the black view with every racial incident, he could have calmed the waters by explaining what each side was thinking and feeling. He had plenty of opportunities and blew every one.

He’s said that several times

Oh, come on, Souf--that's too much for him to read!
You should know that I read everything. I even read transcripts of speeches. I don't watch posted videos, though.

Its too bad I wasted one of my 10 NYT visits on an article that isn't even relevant to the discussion.
