At the end of the 3rd quarter North Carolina has running back with 202 rushing yards. And he is NOT their leading rusher today.

The Carolina running backs have 438 yards on 35 carries with four touchdowns. With another quarter still to play.

Easy to say now obviously, but Miami was in no way one of the top 10 teams in the country. Their best win this year by far was NC St, with Pitt being a distant 2nd.

The only 2 good teams they played this year pretty much beat the crap out of them.

Didn't watch most of it as I was watching Army vs Navy. But the announcer said it best. "It looked like they never even got on the bus to the game."

Am I the only one enjoying watching Miami get the snot kicked out of them ?
I liked the fact Herbstreit’s narrative was crushed—that being his mancrush on Diaz. To Kirkie, sliced bread finishes a distant second to Diaz and Venables and their coaching. It’s ok for the Brown haters to take delight in what’s going on. Attacking Miami is easy. Go beneath their upfield undisciplined rushes. Big gains to be had for a well coached running game.

Diaz is a douche...

I don’t know if either Miami or Pitt will ever be all the way back at this point. God knows i’ve waited decades, still feel that faint glimmer of hope every year in the late summer. I guess Miami is the more likely team to get back sooner. Can’t believe Florida State has fallen of the face of the earth, never imagined they would fall so hard. That beatdown they too against Oregon is something they haven’t bounced back from.

Herbie started the Miami Cheerleading early in the day. It was embarrassing.

Kenny P plays different game..
Sure, but that makes those numbers even more pathetic. Knowing he was out, running the ball was the best chance Pitt had. How can you not come up with a way to get some kind of run game, against a team that has just given up over 500 yards to UNC?

Which would make sense this year if Kenny P. had played against Miami. Yellin threw for 277 in that game but, just one TD.

We were inside the 20 and kicked FGs (33-, 24-, 36- & 30-yards) where Miami scored TDs.

We could not beat Miami this year because they knew we had to throw. Our running game has sucked for two seasons, the exception being Thursday night of course.

All season the running game was bad... Yellen is not close to Kenny P avoiding the rush or taking off.. I hope Yellen becomes more of a threat to take off if he has too... not knocking Yellen at all. I want to see Beville.

We've had little balance.. fingers crossed it will happen again.

In 2017 when Kenny was QB for the victory over #3 Miami I think if you take the sacks out of the rushing numbers we ran for just over 4-yards per carry. Until Thursday night we had not had a 100-yard rusher in 23 games, since Delaware in 2019.

We had not run the ball with any authority.
