People used to ask me if I preferred college or NFL. I used to say that was like picking your favorite child. Well now the answer is easy... NFL all the way. The college game is a shell of its former self with the way offense is so ahead of defense. It's just not fun outside of the SEC and Big Ten.
If you think watching Rutgers, Illinois, Purdue, Iowa, Northwestern, PS, Indiana, etc. is fun that you might want re-evaluate.
Too much of anything makes it less interesting. These track meet games really get boring after awhile. In a good defensive game, scoring points becomes critical and more exciting. Field position and turnovers become important aspects of the game. Give me a good close 20-17 game anyday over a 55-48 game.
When the spread is run very well by good players, its almost impossible to stop unless you are Alabama with 11 NFL players. When you look at Narduzzi, he didnt go up against many spreads in the Big Ten.
Well obviously those aren't good examples but Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska are what I was referring. Give me those games anytime over these 56-49 games. But we all know what opinions are like, and we all have them. To each his own.
And yes, I'd rather watch Minnesota play Iowa than Oklahoma State vs Baylor.

Watching the bottom feaders of any conference sucks no matter what style they play. Their players are trash.
Yeah who wanted to watch Big East basketball 10 years ago unless you loved Rutgers, Seton Hall and South Florida
