1. Except for Okafor, this Duke team looked like almost all of Duke's teams under K. Quick perimeter guys who can shoot...and LOOK for the trey. Waves of them.
2. If we knock down any treys early, it would have been a close game. Instead, it had a strange feeling....we won the second half, and decisively won the final 3/4.. Against a batch of thoroughbreds. Best effort since dismantling KSU .
3. James confidence is shot, and that really hurts. He needs to get p*ssed off.
4. If Artis can continue his recent play, it'll free Mike a bit. Jamel is a decent shooter, and is starting to rebound better. Tough matchup for big 4s.
5. Jones needs to stay aggressive. Good stuff happens.
6. I would have liked to force Okafor to the FT line a bit more, but he wasn't bad there last night. Pick your poison.
Jones/Winslow/Okafor is a terrific frosh combo.
7. I think this team will surprise a couple ranked teams before the year ends. Losing both DJ & Slim limits our offense, so we'll probably lose a game where we're favored, too.
