O Line

I know. Just think of O'Neill when I think of athletic linemen.

That kid was rare. I give HCPC and Jim Hueber credit for recruiting really solid OL. I’m really hoping we see the guys in that RS Sophomore class stand up or this is going to be a brutal year.

Just a couple of thoughts. I like the RS/SO group and I'm with you on hoping they step up. If the current alleged depth chart is correct, I'd be disappointed if Houy was backing up Ulizio. I know there's a little experience there but it's not like Ulizio was a world beater. I'm glad that Kradel is showing up at center. I like Drexel but I was hoping for an upgrade at that position. The only other well regarded RS/FR is Zubovic and I haven't heard much other than he got some work at tackle this spring. I'm also wondering if Wheeler will stick around and play backup.

so many questions on a lot of these 3rd year players. really hope and expect a lot of this to be sorted out by the end of camp. Many of these guys who are going into their 3rd and even 4th year in the program need to either step up or get recruited over..

I know it takes time to develop but if you aren't breaking into the 2 deep by your 3rd or 4th year, it's probably a good indicator that it wasnt meant to be. Some of these guys are quickly approaching that point in their college careers..

Batko wrote it too because Borbely keeps saying it. Not sure who is more athletic than Brian O'Neil but I'm going to use him as a benchmark for that discussion.
O'Neil was 2 years ago. he was certainly an outlier athletically as an OL for Pitt. The "more athletic" reference is relative to last season.
