And Pittsburgh was forever changed. Not just the Penguins, but the interest in hockey in general. Ice rinks started popping up, deck hockey, street hockey in the actual street, tennis courts, or even BB courts.
I recall being a young lad and listening to the games on the radio. Can't recall how many games were televised, but it wasn't a lot.
