OT: Astonishingly Pitt is the best football team in the city

We don’t even need to do that to get a QB this year. I think Michael Penix is just as good as any quarterback in this draft class and would likely be available in the back end of the first round, perhaps early in the second round.

Williams and Maye are both terrific prospects, but Penix feels like he has “it.”
I like Penix as well, although he was scary bad last night. The big knock on him is the horrible injury history, if I remember correctly he had season ending injuries 3-4 years in a row.

That’s true. If he was available in the second round, I think it’d be worth taking him if they’re not sold on Pickett.

Soft as charmin porter just got runover. North alleghenys most wanted
Probably the best corner we have at this point repeatedly blanketing the current top receiver in the league. Your crap is tired, old and wrong. Bring some stats instead of finding his one play he hasn't made all year. Oh that's right, you can't because all his stats are impressive.

Go find a new team to root for so you don't have to root against this one.

For this team with its OL that doesn’t open holes, or not for very long anyway, he’s the better bet at this time.

Harris needs to be included more in the passing game; get him in space
Harris needs to be told to run north/south only. He can still be effective. When he starts side stepping is when he stinks.

But I absolutely agree with the second part. He’s shifty enough that in space it could work.

Good things always seem to happen when they get Heyward the ball , would like to see it more often.

Amazing what it looks like with another competent WR in the lineup.
I don’t think people realize how big of an impact Johnson has on this lineup, even if his numbers don’t necessarily reflect it.

He’s one of the best route-runners in the league and has the ability to get himself open. Pickens is good at the one-on-one deep balls, but he can’t create separation like Johnson; this led to him blanketed by the safety help over top while #18 was out. It’s tough to win those 50/50 balls when you’re double teamed without another threat on the field.

Austin also brings another element to the offense with his speed, but he’s still very raw as a receiver. You almost need to have packages designed for him to get him involved, which they’ve done quite a bit.

I wish every game would begin with us either tied or trailing in the fourth quarter… Kenny knows how to turn it on when it counts!
I know, right? I've felt pretty hopeless so far this football season, but that drive made me think the Steelers might at least turn the corner

They notoriously turned the offense around (relatively speaking) after the bye week last season… perhaps we see something similar this year?

Just a horrible play by Johnson, after the Pickens penalty you’d think he would know better.
