OT: Astonishingly Pitt is the best football team in the city

I can’t argue.

I think Pickett should be pulled in the second half; maybe give him one more possession to do something, but that’s it. Not that it’s totally on him. It may not even be remotely close to being all on him. But you can’t bench the whole OL, you can’t make the first round pick RB actually hit a hole, and you can’t fire the OC in this town (oddly, unless he’s successful). Everyone including the Browns are freaking above you in the standings now, too. So you have to try anything to win. And blame whomever, but they are doing everything but playing winning football today with KP.
Good call on that benching coach...btw, no one is above them in the standings. 2-0 in the division and short a game on 'everyone' via their bye..I do love in game gloom and doom posts. Reminds me of that all-is-lost after one play dr pepper commercial.

Also, whatever the hell 92 Williams was doing to Kenny at the end of that sneak should have been a personal foul. Trying to drag him back or whatever after the whistle.

The Steelers are by far the best team in the city. We are better off playing on the road in places like LA because our fans just take over the stadium and there isn’t the negativity that they sometimes receive at the Ack.

Away fan support is great for sure, but everyone's team takes over SoFi. They must have zero Rams fans out there.

Technically, Ravens are a half game ahead of them in the standings.

Do give us the "enough" metric....odd, I'm guessing Larry Fitzgerald garnered a first ballot hall of fame career while never getting a taunting penalty doing a shsshhh sign in some guy's face like a third grader...

You think a "shhh" sign should decide the outcome of an NFL football game? One with millions of dollars riding on it, no less.

It looked like he was trying to pull the ball out of his arms. As if doing that well after the play was over would have done anything.

It was a dumb play by Johnson. Everyone knows the rule. Johnson is fully to blame. McMillion is an idiot for doing what he did yesterday as well.

NBA players do that after every other made 3-pointer. But, in a sport so violent that someday laid on the field legally dead ten month ago, shushing is where they have to draw the line?!

A Tweet (or should I say, Quack) from a former Steeler QB… I honestly wouldn’t have expected them to be 11-4 in their last 15 games. Big game coming up next Sunday against Jacksonville, a team the Steelers notoriously struggle against.

Also, I went back and watched some of the Rams game and I don’t like the personal foul penalty they assessed to Diontae Johnson. I didn’t realize he did the taunting act towards Ahkello Witherspoon, who played in Pittsburgh the past two seasons. After Johnson did the “shh” gesture, he embraced Witherspoon and kind of hugged him… I believe what happened is that the “taunt” was in good nature and the ref misunderstood the context.

Although Kenny Pickett might stink (for now), at least he stinks for cheap. Would not want to be in the QB situations that Cleveland, New York, Denver, etc. find themselves in.
On the other hand, the thing about the dumbass Rooneys is that even if Kenny proves to be a bust, and he's well on his way, those morons won't give up on him for 3-4 years minimum, they're so scared of change and too arrogant to ever admit they are wrong or made a mistake and no sense of urgency to improve fast or win, the ''never fire the HC to have stability forever" is the dumbest thing in the history of sports, business, government anywhere! So even if Kenny remains bad, expect him to start several years to come, with the Tomlin playbook and dumbass Art Rooney whining like Duzz that "we need to run the ball more".

Taunting for that? Olay, these guys need to die.
It's stupid that taunting is a penalty against the team, they should just allow it and instead fine players, throw the flag, announce it, don't penalize the team in the game, then fine them $100k. That might slow it down more than 15 yards.

Or just let them make a shushing gesture because it's absolutely harmless and stupid to penalize anyone in any way for.

Pickens has killed three drives.

Didn't stay in bounds on the play he had the defender beat over the top.

Crackback block.

P*ssied out and heard footsteps and alligator-armed a would-be first down.

What a clown. And Pickett has taken two sacks when he was looking directly at a guy who would have gotten a first down. I'm so sick of football in this town. An FCS rookie for a bad team (the Bears) just threw 3 touchdowns in his first start.
Division II*. Tyson Bagent. I saw him play in the WV 3A State Championship in 2016. Very good.
