The AHL needs more franchises in mid to small markets that are passionate about their teams instead of teams in large markets that are after thoughts. I think the only “success story” for that is Cleveland.

A more apt comparison would be the D2 champs. A nice accomplishment but no one gives a shit.

The AHL has some really good history...that said it is the minors. Hershey is a fabulous area. Go there often. Thriving businesses and a really cool scene
