You said Bernie Sanders "fully supports" Capitalism. He doesn't. He says he doesn't.

Why would you trust either? However, Wall Street doesn't ask you to trust them. They don't pretend to be altruistic. They are out to make money and drive their business. The Government (and especially people like Sanders) does the exact opposite.
No one said we did. I've read that article. It is very slanted. I also, don't argue our society isn't growing more and more socialistic and our population is more and more in support of socialistic programs. We are creating a culture of feeding at the Government teet and the people want more, more, more. This is not a shock. It is scary, but not a shock.

uber-successful, I'd say, I'm above average, certainly not rich. But the thing is, I don't have to PAY MONEY to be allowed to give my opinion on a college sports program. And it's not hypocritical. Where is it written that you have to donate to the sports program before you're allowed to give an opinion as to what they should do? That's just stupid.

You advocate that Pitt doesn't do enough to "win at all costs". Clearly, even to the least knowledgeable person, money is a key element in winning at all costs either legally or not. Yet you do nothing to AID in Pitt winning at all costs, specifically your lack of financial contribution directly in donation form and/or through the purchase of tickets and swag. In fact, you brag over and over again that you do as little as possible.
The fact that you practice one set of standards while demanding the completely opposite set of standards makes you the LITERAL definition of a hypocrite, regardless of your protests.
I'm not "part of the team", I don't work there, I'm an outsider, I contribute in tickets and gear, that's enough to qualify as a fan. And yeah, If I buy a Steelers ticket and give it to a fan in exchange for a Pitt ticket, yes, I supported the program, because the money going from the person who bought actually came from me.
Truth is, people who never go and own no gear, but just watch on TV are also qualified fans, with the right to give opinions.
I don't. They will either eventually sign on to Sling or some other subscription service, or lose subscribers. I did email them, but I am only 1.
I tend to watch more baseball than hockey, so that will be an adjustment.....to me, it that really isn't worth the cost of cable.

What I am saying is that you are a hypocrite.
I don't see it that way, but that's your opinion, that's fine. If I'm a hypocrite, then the vast majority of fans are hypocrites. By your definition, any fan that gives an opinion that the program should do something that costs money, without then donating money beyond the price of a ticket or a jersey is a hypocrite, then every Saturday, there are probably 30000+ hypocrites in Heinz Field.
Not every fan who drops into Heinz on Fall Saturdays vociferously announces that "Pitt should do everything to win" while contributing as little as possible, the way you proudly admit to. Especially in light of the fact that you are more than willing to tell everyone on here how much money you make and clearly have the wherewithal to make a financial investment that would even in the most modest way equal your squawking investment.
The failing financial support of Pitt athletics is absolutely one of the major factors that has contributed to the decades of mediocrity we all have endured. If you want Pitt to win at all costs, your actions should mimic your mouth. Otherwise, you are a hypocrite. But feel free to paint the Heinz Field crowd with your own jaundiced brush to justify yourself.

A lot of people. Same as there are "fat cats" lining their pockets and not trickling down wealth.
The "right" to health insurance. The "right" to free college tuition.
Myself, I think it's good. And every other developed country does it, or tries. I think money shouldn't necessarily over rule things, like health care and education, which in reality are more important than money. Not sure how to resolve it, but it's important enough that we should try. Like I honestly don't think we should have millions of people with no health care and millions unable to attend schools they are capable of graduating from, or we never rebuild our bridges, roads and infrastructure, just so that the 4th idiot daughter of Sam Walton can have $5 billion in her investment portfolio.

Could you use those connections to finally allow Pitt stop shackling itself in fear of the NCAA and to use its boosters like winning programs do?
I'd assume those AD connections you have are either really really ostracized in that puritanical dept, or else vomit in rage at your opinions on how Pitt should compete...
Not really, I just know someone on an athletic committee, who often hears about inside stuff. This person is not powerful by any means, and would like for Pitt to take winning seriously.
Or like the people that hold up signs that say "Repeal horrible Obamacare and save my ACA!"
