OT - Foster

Shame. I agree with all if Foster can graduate it would make alot of sense for him to transfer back to Pitt as a Grad transfer. Foster and family effed up. This is a great cautionary tale to all of those kids and especially parents who get starry eyed about these huge programs come calling. Sure, it would be great to play for Alabama or Ohio State or Notre Dame, but you have seen time after time after time top local kids going to places like that only to get an injury or something else, and getting passed over for the next guy and buried where at Pitt the top local kids who go here have success and an uncanny success to reach the next level.
Good point, Nate Peterman Enrolled at Pitt as a Graduate Transfer. Michigan State Graduate Transfer Mark Scarpinato did not work out as plan.
Ryan Mundy did the same graduating from Michigan and going to WVU then went NFL for a few years.

Paul Chryst brought in Pitt's Chris James. Russel Wilson did the same for one year at Wisky. Paul Chryst has had as many 8 QB at Wisky in one year, Iowa Ferentz has had a few too recently.

It is not the ideal way to rebuild a Program but helps out when one or two players can come in and contribute right away as a Band Aide. KSU Snyder is one of the few Coach's that does rebuild his program on such Transfers and has been successful in doing it.

Here is what many Top 100 Transfers did in 2016:

Then again, here is a Lists of Former Michigan Commits that transferred and some worked out and many did not:

You post this and then claim I'M the one on drugs?!? Who is whining? You are weird
Yep, ain't it tough being a whiner and just showing anyone can do what you post in less than 30 seconds of nothing, Thank You for proving it as usual?

Well, that says that even though they were winning and blowing people out, they were throwing a lot more than we were, so there were more passes to catch there. It is just about him getting on the field. Obviously that is immensely easier at Pitt, but the offense actually provides more opportunities to catch passes at Alabama.

Sorry. Wasn't talking about him within the context of Pitt. Just meant that he's not going to see a ton of opportunity as a #3 WR in a super run heavy offense. As a #1, yeah. A bit more.

a graduate transfer certainly makes sense for Foster, and might actually be encouraged by Bama. I have no insight whatsoever on this but I don't think he would end up here. I would bet WVU; a pass-happy offense that is close to home. Pitt will be breaking in a new QB next year.

That's true, but the examples that come more immediately to mind for me come from my hometown (Duquesne).
I agree it happens everywhere and in all Towns some overcome and makes it great and some just fail to overcome their flaws. Not pointing fingers either just happens and we all regret it.
