There wasn't a lot that went right for Florida State on the offensive side of the ball in the 24-3 loss to Virginia Tech on Monday night.

On the few occasions where things did go right, the Seminoles attempted to run the fast tempo associated with the Gulf Coast Offense.

Attempted is the key word because almost every time FSU would break a big play a Virginia Tech defensive player would be on the ground after and the Hokies' training staff would have to come out to look at them.

Whether or not the injuries were legitimate is a hot topic for debate right now.

"It happened quite a bit," FSU coach Willie Taggart said.

Its legal but its also poor sportsmanship as well.............Beginning to dislike the coach at VT...

Contrary to many, I like Taggart as a coach . . . but his complaint strikes me much like Franklin's whine about Pitt clapping.

Soon they will have a rule to lessen the impact of faking injuries. Cheating ain't trying. It's cheating.

We have fully concussed players on the field who are clearly dazed-
And you think they’ll be able to successfully navigate which injuries are real and which are embellished??

They have to sit out a play - the punishment is already configured.

It will be really difficult to penalize faking as the focus is on the play. The most obvious case in the VT fSU game occured behind the play. The VT DL was never touched, and was walking down field looking around, looked to the sidelines and then decided to fall to the ground. You may catch one out of 100 cases like that but it will be very difficult.

That being said, Hockey does have a faking rule that results in a 2 minute minor
