Fantastic experience. Whole procedure including drive time to and from HH hospital was less than 8 hours,
I have a nerve block in my femur that will last until tomorrow. Have minimal pain.
Will get a little worse, but have enough meds to take the edge off.
“Why did I wait so long”?, is all I heard from others, and to this point I wholeheartedly agree……
When the anesthesia wore off, I was walking done the hospital corridor, and was able to use the facilities..
Rehab starts tomorrow. I have a pedal apparatus that will speed recovery.
If any of you guys are on the fence….don’t wait. For the younger bunch, encourage your family member to have it done sooner than .later.
Had bone on bone pain. It was horrific, the last week.
Will be on the Lair quite a lot in the next couple of weeks. HTP.
