Thoughts? I've been recording on my DVR but haven't started.

TIA.

the wife and i gave up early in season 2. we were constantly confused and couldn't keep track of what was happening. i am a little curios to hear where the show went though.

happy that Billions is back.

First episode or two had some real promise.

Then it simply became the Terminator movies and really dumb "payoffs" in the end. Additionally the shere amount of exposition made me go crazy. So yeah...its bad.

Same. This show should be right down my alley but season two completely lost me.

Like others have said, it hasn’t been good. I’ll probably finish it because I’ve done this far but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I feel that way about a lot of shows. If you have viewed 2 seasons, you might feel justified. If you haven't started you might want to avoid or just end after season 1.

One of the reasons why watchmen was the best show on tv this season. They did 1 season that was great and left it there. Westworld had a satisfying ending after season 1. End it there

I gave up after Season 2, episode 1. The first season was fine, but overwrought. The second season was a slow, hard to follow mess.

The show's twice as beautiful as it is good.

Any thoughts on Deadwood? I don’t know how I missed it back when it was on, but now that I am 3/4 of the way through it, you can’t convince me it’s not one of the 3-4 best written and acted shows of all-time. Ian McShane is brilliant throughout. Highly recommend.

The movie just might be the best finale ever for a show. Very satisfying

That's a good assessment. I thought the first season was done pretty well, but 2nd is all over the place.

It had first rate actors, absolutely great dialogue and one hell of a storyline -- it's a friggin' masterpiece!

I thought season 1 was fantastic. I purposefully avoided any potential spoilers about it and was completely caught off guard by the twist. Probably the first time that a twist has surprised me to that degree since maybe Fight Club or Usual Suspects.

Season 2 I soldiered through waiting for it to get good, but it just seemed like they were trying too hard to catch you off guard again. Like watching any Shaymalan movie after 6th Sense.

I made it through 4 episodes this season before I gave up.

100% agreed! Deadwood should be up there with the best series ever. The fact that it is set in the 1870s probably turns some off, but it takes about 3 minutes to get over that once you watch. Amazing characters. Amazing acting. Best dialogue in a show I have ever seen.
