Donald Sutherland the original Hawkeye in the MASH movie died. Also in the hunger games, dirty dozen and animal house.

When he lifts his arms up in animal house and you see his bare ass....I don't know why but that always struck me as one of the funniest movie scenes

He sat behind me at a Phillies/Expos game when I was a child. He was big Expos fan, very gracious and took the time to talk to me and my siblings.

Unlike Joe Biden. I held the door for him at a Wawa and he didn't even thank me. This was when he was a Delaware Senator in the mid 90's. He also did not tip my buddy who caddied for him at a golf course. Who does not tip a caddy who just carried your bag for 18 holes?

Loved that movie. One of my first Sci fi films as a kid.

one of the few times where the remake was better than the original. Leonard Nimoy was also great in that movie.

Fun fact, the original invasion of the body snatchers came out in the 50's and was meant as an allegory warning about communism.
