OT: Local Restuarant and Dish that you come back for

The Wooden Angel in Beaver, PA. - The best rack of lamb, being going there for decades and it's the only thing that my wife, my daughter and I will order. It's pricy, but worth it.

Burgatory North Shore
Six Napkin Nacho's
Mr. Buffett = Morty's Steakhouse Burger = Yuengling's
Mrs Buffett = The Crab Shack Burger = Bacon Mary's

We tried the Milk Shakes with liquor, not worth the money, and just ok.

For the south hills gang,

Vilka"s on route 88 just north of the world famous Tennyson Lodge.

The fish is as fresh as any in the city. Scallops are fantastic.
interesting, haven't checked that place out yet. never one to turn down good scallops..

Scallops at a bistro then Tennyson lodge after, that's a heck of a night IMO..

I'm a breakfast guy and Bakn's pancake tacos are probably number one on my list along with the hot cakes at Dor-Stop.

I am really particular about scallops. I love them, think they are one of the sea's greatest treasures. But so many restaurants do so many unscrupulous things with them (packed in sodium biphosphate solution to keep white) old, frozen, gritty........

I only order them when I know they are fresh. If you see a $19.99 scallop dish?? Do not order, or do so if you don't know what fresh scallops are like.

scallops is one thing I could eat every day for the rest of my life.. I could never get sick of scallops, ever.. cant say I can taste the difference between fresh and old scallops though. maybe I've never had bad scallops, or maybe I've never had great scallops and don't know what im missing..

whats the place down on carson? Bar, hibachi place right on main drag by nicks fat city (yeah,i know it hasn't been named that in 20 years).. forget name of it but they have some scallop dish where they serve it in this sauce that's ridic.. normally less is more with scallops (like steak) but they have some signature sauce that compliments it well.
