The school also announced plans for a Friday morning press conference.

"(Jurich) will make a major announcement" at the press conference, U of L's news release said.

The deal comes at a time when Louisville was nearing the end of its contract with Adidas. That agreement ran through this coming school year, with a one-year extension option, and was worth $39 million over five years.

The new contract puts U of L near the top of collegiate athletics in sponsorship deals.

Can't be true. People here say Louisville is a pariah. Adidas should brace itself for massive losses.

Addidas is supporting a "Winner". More correctly, " A University that is committed to Winning, in all sports ". This just highlights how screwed up Pitt's Administration is. 30 years ago U of L sports were garbage. Their football team played in an off campus, run down, AAA baseball stadium that sat 25,000. Funny what commitment to winning does.

What time does the Philosophy team play next weekend?

Money talks bullshit walks. Pitt suits not even considered for deals like this. It's not by accident.
