I may be in New Orleans on October 13th and was thinking of going up to Baton Rouge for the day to see UGA at LSU.
We'd be flying into New Orleans on the 12th. I was thinking of just renting a car at the airport and getting a hotel near the airport that night. I'd love to stay in Baton Rouge but don't want to add on the price of a Baton Rouge hotel for one night considering what UGA/LSU tickets are going to cost me.
Alternatively, does anyone know if there are transportation options from the city that would be easier/cheaper than renting a car?
Also, feel free to post any restaurant or other suggestions for gameday in Baton Rouge.
