Is there a place I can stay within walking distance of Citizen's Bank Park and not get stabbed going to and from the stadium?

Or perhaps a decent option that would only involve a short walk to the subway?

Haven't been there in years but I dont remember any hotels within walking distance. Its this large tract of land where 3 arenas/stadiums sit surrounded by a mammoth parking lot.

Its not a literal island but it kinda felt that way. Like this "sports island" not near anything.

Ah, damnit. That's kind of how Giants Stadium was. Might just have to look into the subway system.

There’s a casino there with a hotel. Probably a few others as well. You could also stay downtown somewhere and take the Broad St line to the stadium. It’s the last stop so it’s pretty easy

There is a hotel right next to the stadium. The area around there is not that bad.

The subway system is pretty easy to use. When I was there they had an express line that only had a few stops relative to the main line and the sports complex was one of them.

I checked the casino hotel, but it's $1,200 that night. A little out of my price range, unless it comes with a free Siberian Tiger I can take home or something.

Last time I was there for an event I stayed downtown and took the train to and from. No problems.

We took the Subway. Seemed like a pretty good subway system

Yea, kinda. I was at the Meadowlands last year and noticed they did have a few hotels within walking distance but the rates werent worth it so we stayed a few towns away.

Just stay in Center City and take SEPTA to the stadium. It goes right there and there will be a million fans with you so the riff raff will stay away.

depends on what your walking distance is...I think there is a Courtyard and Holiday in within a mile....fairly safe albeit ugly area

I was a big fan of Trio's when I lived in Delco.
