Maybe they can win their 1st playoff game in 31 years. I still can't believe it's been that long. I hope success continues for the true Pirate fans that have suffered through that drought.
Factually wrong. Even if you don't count the wild card win, they had 2 playoff victories in the next round vrs ST. Louis. Go be negative somewhere else.
I see you’ve raised your win prediction from the beginning of the month? If they keep it up, they might have you saying they’ll finish with an over .500 record!

My first thought was I had no idea why he agreed to the deal. But then I realized he's older than I thought. Reynolds wouldn't have hit free agency until he was 31 prior to signing this deal. Its certainly team friendly, but he was no guarantee to get a big deal if he waited.
They may or may not be good. But if you think this is any indication of how good they are, you’re simply not that bright.

Respectfully, how is that being negative? Said that it’s been a long time since they won a playoff series (likely what he meant) and that he hopes they can win again soon. I think there’s a little misunderstanding here.
Then why incorrectly post on the Pirates most recent playoff record (or even get involved in the discussion list as "OT" at all oh great keeper of Pitt message board purity) and then whine when called out on it? Keep digging your hole because in a battle of wits you come in completely unarmed.....

Thx and the same ones continue to chirp because they got their feelings hurt. Not everyone is heavy into Pittsburgh professional sports on here. That's why people have the choice to root for whoever they want. Personally I think pro and college sports have gone down hill and it gets worse.
But I continue to place Pitt ahead of everything else.
