I don’t watch him, but his program with Shannon Sharpe happened to be on 3 weeks ago when I was in the loft working on the computer and I could hear the sound. Of course, he was talking about the Cowboys, as usual, as he believes the world revolves around them.
The topic was how they would do with Elliott finally getting ready to serve his suspension. Bayless said that during the suspension, Dak Prescott would prove that he was “the best QB in the NFL not named Tom Brady.”
To his credit, Sharpe didn’t buy it, saying that Prescott was unproven. Since that statement was made, the Cowboys are 0-3 and have been routed in all 3 games. They have scored one TD (with 4 minutes left today and trailing the Chargers 28-6) in total in those 3 games. Prescott has thrown 2 pick sixes and no TD passes.
How does Bayless get his own show? He knows nothing about any sport but pontificates about every sport. If someone typed up all his inane statements, they would fill a library. Maybe two. With Jim Rome gone is there a less competent person with his or her own show?
