I know someone who is both considering the University of Pittsburgh and is interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management. I’m trying to assist him to see if SCM at Pitt is what he really wants. Pitt’s his dream school, so the school itself isn’t a question.
Is anyone here in SCM or majored in it at Pitt? If so, what’re your thoughts on the program? Did it prepare you for the career you wanted? Were you able to get a job out of school? He’s been told that Akron is a good school for this as well, since they have a marketable minor in Homeland Security that only a few in the country have. Thanks and H2P.
