I am looking for a weather app that has a radar. Obviously they all do, but specifically one that shows were the storm is headed in the next hour or two, not where it came from. In other words, Say we are tailgating, it's 3pm and kickoff is at 4pm and we want to see if the storm will pass through at 4:30 or miss us.

Anyone know of any? I've skimmed through the App Store and can't seem to find one.

the weather channel app is good.. gives radar and maps.. on map feature, you hit the arrow button and it gives the 2 hour projection of the green cloudies coming east..

I used them all and am using Weather Bug right now. Not really the best known but they happen to have a weather station a few blocks from my home so it's super local. Their radar is excellent and have a feature called Spark that shows exact lightning strikes and how close they are.

WTAE is a good local App

THIS IS A SPECIAL WEATHER BULLETIN!
There is tempest hovering over the PEC in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, PA. This unique and threatening condition only presents itself during a perfect storm.

The tempest seems to be in a Stall(ings) pattern, so conditions will remain unpredictable and dangerous. There has already been reports of an expensive Barn(es) disappearing completely, without ample advance warning, leaving a trail of havoc where a solidly built structure once stood.

Please stay tuned for updated weather information...

Weatherbug has been the most consistent I believe. Their radar is the clearest and most accurate. I've used most of the apps, and always go back to Weatherbug. If you want the most detailed weather app I've seen, you can purchase eweather HD for 2.99. It has everything.

I honestly had never been on weather bug until your post. I just checked it out and I think I have to agree. Thanks.

It's always been the best radar by far. You get warnings for every location, or you can turn them off. The eweather HD is very cool if you want tons of professional type info.

I use 3 - hi-def radar, dark sky, weather bug. Really like the first 2.
