With everything else going on the endzone stuff is childish but I doubt it impacts performance!

it has been "ok" for these clowns for years. No coach will stand up and tell them to stop it. And the national media seems to endorse it, anyone who criticizes it is accused of "not wanting the players to have fun" on the field.
But I guess as long as I continue to watch it I am supporting their actions.

Oh I agree with your first sentence disagree with the second. Why does the NFL even have a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct? If these constant celebrations/taunting aren't unsportsmanlike then what is?
I think this is far down the list of reasons why our offense is under performing.

I am not a fan of the celebrations, but sports is entertainment, nothing more. Nothin wrong with guys having fun and entertaining their fans.
The very best TD celebration is Larry Fitzgerald’s. Hand the ball to the ref and act like you’ve been there.
Well they have the best record in the AFC right now, and are a lock to win their division, so imagine how good they would be if they were really trying to win.
I think that is just a reflection of how bad the NFL is right now. Pittsburgh is winning based on its defense but I really don't know how good their defense is. I am a Steeler fan but I just don't think they are that good.
tomlin is a clown but I don't blame him for these silly TD celebrations. these are grown men (well by age anyways) and you cant tell a grown man to not play hide N seek in the endzone or enforce AB from doing his dance. What's tomlin gonna do?

what he might mean is that in ALL of the games Tomlin's team has lost, the team was favored 63% of those games, that makes more sense--but is it true, some stat freak would have to check that out.

Only Bad loss this year was the Bears in a strange game. The team has won like 16 out of its last 19 games.
And how do you explain no losing seasons in 11 years?? "Bad" coach? That's coaching at the highest level and doing something very few people in history has done.

I don't like the occasional bad loss because it means they wind up going on the road in the playoffs. So yes there have been disappointments, but do we realize how rare his overall success is??

And saying "60% of the losses are "games they were favored" is an absurd stat. If that's true that's not even that lopsided. When you are a good team, you are favored in most games. So the population of "games favored" is much more. When you are a popular team that people like to bet on, that drives that even higher

Nothing wrong with finding a way to win when you don't play your best game. That's one of the things that makes a good team.
There are years when a 7-9 and 8-8 teams have made the playoffs. Yeah the Steelers have tougher times ahead this year but it has been a long time since the division has been this down. That’s how the NFL goes.

The only thing I slightly have a problem with is some of the celebrations are so choreographed that I just wonder how much time they spent thinking and planning it. All the things you have to do throughout the week to get prepared for a football game and you really still sit there and think about what you're gonna do in the end zone?
I don't have a problem with the celebrations at all. I just think it speaks volumes about where your mind is if that is something you think so much about every single week.
