I haven't run the numbers or anything but I'd say that our 1s and 2s need to combine for 25 points for us to have a chance. If they combine for 35, we probably win.

This team cant play D. Not at all. We all know that. We have to score at least 75 points to win games. When our guards are scoring, we can win. If they're not, we literally have no shot at all.

This is the path to 75:

Young/Artis: 35
1s/2s: 25
Jeter/Johnson/Maia/Luther/ANO: 15

If you look at our losses, sure the D is bad but we need guard scoring. If our 1s and 2s score, we have a chance in every game.

The defense is unfixable. But I feel like we can get our guards to step up. Jones is very inconsistent but his performance was encouraging and maybe that game gets Robinson going.

He is being particularly SMFfy tonight, what with this post and the Dixon to TCU, Matta out at OSU, Marshall to OSU thing. Very, very SMFish stuff. I think SMF needs to find a nice little SWF to give him something else to focus on.
