Owner You Would Rather Coach For - Snyder or Jones

I’m on the opposite end, think you can get more money out of Jones and he’s proven his loyalty to coaches even if they don’t produce. Snyder probably more stupid as well.

Either one.
They're results oriented owners who aren't afraid to tell their HC or anyone else what they're thinking.
Cant ask for more than that but you better perform!

Either one. You sign a seven year deal at $8 million a year, get fired after four years and have a nice income the next three,

I think Snyder is the one. I think Snyder has taken a bit of a step back with his involvement. I think Jones is a complete jacka@@. Press conference after the game, weekly radio show. The guy is all about himself. Maybe he should just hire some football guys and let them run the team instead of wanting to do it all himself.

They have only been irrelevant for 23 years and counting.

Keep up the good work Jerry!!!

Snyder is the nutting of the NFL, no?
Going with the premise that the main issue with Nutting is spending money (it’s not, but that’s another topic), the comparison is inaccurate because Snyder - at least in the past - has spent quite a bit

I had surprisingly difficult time finding payroll rankings, but Washington I think was 17th this year

Nutting and the Pirates at least attempt some PR with some success. Snyder has been a disaster on that front

Btw, the correct answer is Jones, just because he at least has won something, albeit quite some time ago. The Cowboys brand is still quite strong also

Mike Brown is the Nutting of the NFL, and he's actually quite a bit worse than Nutting because he has no financial excuse for not spending. Nutting could spend more, but even if he ran the team at a break even point, the Bucs would still be at a major disadvantage.

There's a couple different ways to look at NFL payrolls, because of the way that bonuses are accounted for and dead money and all that. But in terms of actual dollars spent this year the Redskins were in 30th, or in other words they spent third from the least, "behind" only Miami and the Chargers.

But in 2018 they were 15th and in 2017 they were 5th, so my guess is that their overall spending is pretty well in line with most other teams.

I figured Mike Brown would be the more accurate comparison

Thanks for info
I just remember around the time Snyder took control of the Redskins that he would usually spend the most on free agency, so cheap wouldn’t be the best description of him

After Jason Garrett, I don't know Jones' patience level. I'm coaching for the owner who pays me more.

I agree.
I wouldn’t want to coach for either one, but Jones interferes more, and has to be just awful to coach for.

Since I like both Dallas and the DMC - it would be strictly based on money. And if the money is the same - I’m going to Dallas - no state taxes and a way lower cost of living model.

I would rather coach for Snyder but it is close
Jones...the guy could work with Parcells and he could work with his buddy Jimmy Johnson...I don't get all this "he is a distraction" business. It is his team and he says stuff but as far as I know the coach can coach.

Holding news conferences after games. What other owner does this?
What other owner does this?..none, so what?

uh, that is not meddling, that is speaking his mind. Meddling is telling, dare I say ordering, a coach to do your x's and o's bidding or conspiring with players or coaches to the detriment of the team...any evidence of such behavior?
