I have always felt a little bad for him after all of that. The WVU team didn't play well that night. It wasn't just him.

We honestly should have won by at least 13, which likely would have made it appear to be less his fault. The fact that it was as close as it was is a testament to Big East officials being more creative than Van Gogh once the game hit panic mode.
