Pack/Seahawks

See Luke Getsy there on the sideline. Wonder if he gets a promotion or a better gig elsewhere. He seems like a guy destined to be a HC someday.

How hard would it be for them to put sensors in the markers and a sensor in the ball to make these kinds of things definitive?

I still think he got the 1st down.

I’m pretty sure he didn’t get it based on the one angle they showed, but it’s almost impossible to tell for sure. Would’ve liked to see Wilson get one last shot, guy is a magician with the ball and I think we would’ve seen a dramatic finish.

On to next Sunday, openers are a little different than what I made. Figured KC would be a solid 7, just about everywhere I see already at 7.5.

Made the 49ers 6 over GB, looks like it opened at 7 and has stayed there for now.

Wilson was great in the 2nd half but Rodgers was better. Hoping he can keep it going against SF. Will be a tall task

That angle doesn't really show anything. I don't think it was a terrible call.

I don’t think it’s a terrible call either, but from that angle there’s no way the ball was across the line, it’s physically impossible.

We are never going to agree on this, but right now I think Wilson is the better qb. Rodgers team won tonight though, so he deserves the credit.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you’re liking GB +7?

I do. I'm not feeling confident about it given our line play but I'm optimistic.

I think Rodgers has had a down year, for him. I do think there were signs last night that a little of the old Rodgers is emerging. But he's taken a beating over the years and it's not unreasonable to think he's worse for it. I do like Wilson too, I think he's probably a HOF QB someday, just not in Rodgers category.

I grew up a Packers fan and find it amazing I've only ever seen three starting QBs: Majikowski, Favre, and Rodgers.

It's not even close IMO. Wilson has had mostly garbage around him for a few years and carries that offense to the playoffs every year. Rodgers in his prime was better than Wilson is right now but Rodgers isn't quite what he used to be.

There are some good QBs in this league. Wilson may be my favorite. What a player.

Interesting to see the great Super Bowl and NCAA champion coach Pete Carroll taking heat for punting with under 3 minutes left in the game instead of going for it on 4th down ... I get that there are many differences between the two situations, but Narduzzi was harshly criticzed for the decision to go for the FG against PSU on 4th down, but it is noteworthy that some really solid coaches make similar types of questionable decisions.
