Thats both the fun thing and the maddening thing about college football. There is so much turnover from year to year its hard to get top talent on both sides of the ball in any given year.

Yeah I guess it's encouraging to know Narduzzi has had championship level units on each side of the ball at one point. But I still think of what could have been if the 2016 defense even had a pulse.

UNC and VT were good that year. UNC was loaded with talent and VT was a good team that was a terrible matchup for us. The only wtf loss was how we got blown out by a pretty average Miami team. They wiped the floor with us.
