Parker Stewart on the move again

I posted 2 weeks ago this roster for next year:

Carr
Stewart
Sy
Kene
Timberlake
Mitchell
Cummings
The Holy Cross kid from Latrobe

The best of Stallings + recruits we almost had + Pgh guys we didnt recruit

In all seriousness, we really should recruit Stewart. He's kind of a shy kid who has been moving around a lot. He has an uncle or something in Pgh and worked with S&C Coach Christopher for a season.

For some guys it just seems that the attraction of trying to move around in hopes of finding the “perfect” situation is too much for them to resist.

It’s like they must feel that there just HAS to be something better. But is there? 🤷‍♂️

Almost seems like the CBB version of spinning the chuck-a-luck wheel. But I guess it’s something to get used to. Because it sure seems to be the growing trend now.

Well I do think Stewart’s situation is different than most. First, he did earn a college degree already. Most do not. He’s been at 3 spots, and in the first and last his head coach got fired after 1 season. In between, he goes home to UT Martin to play for his dad and he unexpectedly passes away. I can’t say I blame him for moving around so much.

Could be. Especiall

Could be? Especially in his case. But more generally think there’s also something of a problem when someone is continually the “new guy”.

Of course more and more of these teams are apparently going to be dealing with “new guys” on an annual basis now.

Sort of college basketball versions of nomads. Regardless, this is evidently now “en vogue”. So there are plenty of guys testing the waters. That’s for sure.

Not sure many coaches want to see how they fare being his 4th coach.
