Penn State closing in on Rose Bowl and CFP

Watch and see. PSU gets in if it wins out and beats Wisky. No question. 4 of the top 9 teams are B1G teams, showing the Committee's respect for the conference.
I guess we'll see if it happens...that's the fun of a subjective system, I suppose. A lot of dominoes would have to fall for that to happen, but it's certainly not impossible.

Wisconsin, possibly, but not you yuckies...Only 1 Big Ten 10 team this year, regardless unless Clemson, Louisville AND/OR Washington slip up again. Keep dreaming, though.
for wisconsin just those 3. for psu they would need wvu/oklahoma winner to lose one other as well.

You may be right, but I think PSU would get in ahead of a 1 loss WVU or 2 loss OkSt if they won the Big 10 Championship Game. Man, can you imagine what happens if OkSt comes close and they lost that second token game against directional Michigan on a play that should not have been?

The Big Ten is absolutely 100% getting a team in the CFP. If Wisconsin beats Penn State, Ohio State may go ahead of Wisky due to head to head and quality wins over OU, Neb, and Mich. If PSU beats Wisky, PSU reps the B10 as the B10 champ due to wins over OSU and Wisky.

The 4th spot would be between:

Washington
The Big 12 Champ
Ohio State

I dont see a path for Louisville. Only 1 quality win and didnt win their division. If they take 1 non-division winner, it will be Ohio State.

Committee will take a 2-loss PSU, to make amends for onerous sanctions and to facilitate the healing process

Agree b10 is getting a rep no matter what. OSU is almost a lock to win out and get in without winning their conference, with MI qb going down. If psu wins out they will be in the b10 championship. If wisconsin wins they may just take OSU, since osu won head to head they likely get in, plus they only have one loss. If PSU wins things will get interesting PSU beat OSU it may be tough for the comittee to take them over PSU in that case the b10 gets two reps.
