You focus too much on the Pedos my man. They're a National joke who has been exposed to their very core. Success with honor is, was, and will always be a sham. Paterno is rotting in hell. All is good with the world. Crack a cold one, get on top of your lady tonight and quit worrying about the cult.
Not happening.I'll keep saying "Joe Knew" until the cult actually shows any real remorse to what their program did.

What are you talking about.... Penn States team beat Johns Hopkins today. They are 10 - 1 and ranked 9th in the country.Your right - Pitt Women's Lacrosse kicked Penn States ass today 14-7. Was never close.
You know.....this is true.On behalf of the cult, sans the 3 people who got misty's, we are very sorry. Looking forward to the PSU/Pitt game next year
You know.....this is true.
Talked to my sister in law (PSU grad) about this. She is embarrassed. You have to balance the love for your Alma mater with the realization that something very wrong happened and could happen again.
You don't stop loving someone because they fail, but you should walk away when they fail to try to correct.
And that is the turning point.
Will PSU try to correct? I think they have, but there exists a powerful group of delusional people who refuse to accept facts. Franco Harris comes to mind.
Unless and until they stop influencing decisions, PSU will and should continue to inspire others to criticize what is done there.
My two and a half cents.
Was that for the victims or when "Uncle Joe" died?Don't you know ... they lit candles for the victims and all was healed!
It would be nice if a person who is respected by the cult would come out and say "enough of this victim mentality. Representatives of our beloved university did some heinous acts, made terrible decisions that caused numerous children to be scarred for life. We are not the victims. Stop denying these acts occurred. These terrible things happened" etc. But instead, as you said, there's nutjob Franco continuing with his delusional talking points. Are there any leaders out there nitters? Time to step up, and earn some respect instead of disgust. You know.....this is true.

I have run into some sane alumni who admit and are ashamed of what went on there. That said, it is not a stance shared by all and the cult will never admit it. What worries me is that that town and the people surrounding it live solely to see that football team win on Saturdays. It is still a do whatever it takes to win mentality up there. Hopefully, the administration and the coaches in place, would not make the same mistakes again. Child rape is a heinous, but there are other ways you can have lack of institutional control, and with the win at all costs mentality that still exists, I can see them stepping out of line again in the future. Everybody wants to win, but when you have no integrity and winning blinds you from human decency, things are bound to go bad. I hope they have moved on at the administrative level and have better people in place, because there is a faction that exists up there, who don't give a damn how that program is run as long as they win on Saturday. You know.....this is true.

Club, Pitt doesn't have a D-1 team. What are you talking about.... Penn States team beat Johns Hopkins today. They are 10 - 1 and ranked 9th in the country.
Are you talking about some club team?
. But instead, as you said, there's nutjob Franco continuing with his delusional talking points.
See. No remorse. And then you will look for something else to cry about.
The irony of this post is hilarious. And then you will look for something else to cry about.

Lubrano and Lord, under federal investigation, are members of your BOT!!!!Franco Harris has no power as regards Penn State or State College.
For that matter --- neither really do Anthony Lubrano or Al Lord. They may be trustees, but they have hardly influenced their fellow trustees, nor have they any real "victories" during their tenures.
The likes of Harris and Lubrano make easy targets for Penn State haters. But if you step back and actually look, you realize they're not really changing hearts and minds or influencing Penn State's longer-term direction. They are more cartoon characters.
