Interesting to hear McShay after the game say a lot of nfl people are not that high on Peppers and think McShay overrates him. 1 int his whole career is troubling.
if a pitt player did it, I'd have a REAL hard time rooting for that player in the nfl. I'll go so far as to say I'd be happy to see them fail, karma and all..
Obviously they care very little about college fans, even their own. Their actions prove this.I bet this is the first thing NFL bound players worry about when making their decisions.
SMF, this is a tab bit of a reach for me to believe, this injury charade.. I can go so far as to believing that he was borderline and this helped sway his decision, that maybe he plays if it's a mich-osu game. This is an ugly trend, these kids sitting out. I get it but damn if it isn't soft and of course selfish..

Wish all games were this meaningless. Players..and..coaches gave great effort in this entertaining game. Dalvin Cook gave some very inspirational comments about his team, his coach and the game afterwards. He's good enough to be drafted with an injury but it was refreshing to see someone with that kind of spirit in today's world of sports.
are you comparing a player leaving early to a player who doesn't play in a bowl game? Wow, that's reaching..Cook announced today he is going to NFL. Lets discuss if he is quitting on his team for 2017
they shouldn't, hence the reason why I said I understand it. You and I are saying the same thing.. I understand it but it annoys me.. if a pitt player does it, i'll understand it but hope he blows his knee out in the combine..Then why should they care about fans?
Oh I know he was hurt, not implying he wasn't. But you're saying it wasn't a walk thru, why are you having such an intense practice the day before the game? He's your star player, another day of an actual practice is not helping him any. I just see no reason to run a practice where guys have a reasonable chance of getting hurt. They don't just walk thru. Catching passes, fielding punts and drills. He hurt his hamstring jumping for a pass. Quite simple. Not sure why people are so worked up over this. The kid was hurt.
Did it? You must have the radiology report since you're the only one saying that. The only info out there is Harbaugh saying it was an "ACL or MCL" injury. Butt walked off the field and to the locker room without any assistance and without much of a limp. That minor injury ended up being ACL and MCL damage.
I really don't like to attack posters for their comments, but this comment is out of line. How do you know that he was faking the injury? Didn't Peppers practice during the week? He could have just as easily gotten hurt during practice. I don't know, but I don't think he would have waited till the pregame and do that to his team.Mysterious hamstring injury before the game. As a fan I dont like it but these games, which are for pride only and are mostly meaningless so it is very smart for these guys to avoid risking catastrophic injury in a meaningless game.
The team doctors haven't said a thing.I finished a basketball game on a torn ACL. Had know idea until MRI. Whether or not he walked off without a limp or assistance is useless. I'm sure your Eye test is more reliable than team doctors.. But you are the Michigan expert. This board has heard your stories daily.
They said he hurt a hammy fielding a punt in Thursday practice. That may be true, but Peppers himself said if the game was Saturday instead of Friday, he would've played. I'm sure if it was a CFP game or OSU or any game that really mattered he would've played. It's all speculation but the circumstances and Peppers' postgame comments are certainly suspicious.I really don't like to attack posters for their comments, but this comment is out of line. Maybe I am being naive but that is just my opinion
My bad...that was worded wrong. I should've said: "It's no coincidence...."Where do I act that it's a coincidence?
When they no longer work. What should you do???
Yeah, I mean would potentiality losing all that money be worth it if it happened today against Clemson, rather than in the Orange Bowl?Would he be any less injured if that had happened in the Ohio State game . . . or for that matter, against one of the Michigan directionals?
