I have to say I was one who thought going to Peterman as the starter with the way Chad finished last year, was a mistake. I think he is playing very good in this offense. He makes good decisions and protects the ball. Not to mention he does a decent job when he has to run. Kudos to the coaches on this call.

Spot on observation and good post, Peterman in just his first 6 games looks better than Hackenberg in his last 3 years?

Good god compared to Hackenberg he looks like Joe Montana. As I thought the 2 INTs at Iowa were first start jitters, he's been nothing but calm, cool, and collective in clutch moments from the second half of that game forward.

I had reservations like Pbrad too, but I trusted Coach Pat to determine if he is happy with OC Chaney, and let the winning or losing determine Pitt future. I still think Chad is a big asset for the Pitt Offense too, but Peterman is getting better every game!

Chad was a good leader and is a good athlete. Peterman lately though is just too good at the QB position to not be the starter. Decent situation we've got, although not Ohio State, they played all 3 guys at QB already tonight!

Hackenberg looks terrible and so do the rest of the Peds. ND having a tough time with USC. How about Miles call on the fake field goal, and you have to love MSU winning the way they did. I love college ball and I love this Pitt team.

Agree, and Peterman needed the time to adjust to the Team and to the Team to adjust to his Rhythms, and so did OC Chaney!

On Chris Peak Radio Show, he talked about how if JP Holtz had made his block against UVA Defensive End, Chad Run in that game would have went for a TD, based on Bostick's Analysis?

Just one block stopped an early Pitt TD by Chad?

I think the most under-appreciated play of the game was late when Peterman avoided a sack and instead of throwing the ball away or going out of bounds he ducked back in to stay in bounds. That play forced GT to use their last timeout. Great game presence.

Without peterman we are not 5-1. For the first time in a long time we have a QB who can throw downfield, make good decisions, and escape pressure when needed. Connor was a huge blow, but peterman was a huge pick up.
Hopefully another wide out will emerge for Pitt soon.

Agree 100%---just think if Conner was available--combine him with Peterman and we've got something
