A Notre Dame degree is not more valuable than a PITT degree. Believe me, when HR Directors see a degree from Pitt, they are very impressed. Notre Dame is OK, but PITT is better.

The one good thing I can say for Notre Dame is that they didn't try to restrict him from going to a school on their schedule while Jurkovec will be at BC.

I guess it's a good thing - it could be that Kelly isn't worried that he'll do anything at BC.

Actually Georgia would be the place. Fromm leaving, offense struggles as it is and is looking for a spark. You know the NCAA would take care of the good ol boys and grant him immediate eligibility.

Thing is, I don't think he's good enough to play there. Kelly is notorious for rotating QB's and never once in 2 years did he come close to pulling Book and going with Jurkovic. Leeds me to wonder if he really is that good.

To defend myself, Pickett really good until Year 5. Also, Jurkovec "won" the backup QB job at ND as true frosh and soph and played a little. He also had a good 1st year with BC and kicked our ass. But then he got the Steve Sax/Chuck Knoblauch/Rick Ankiel yips.
