Pitt and Video Game Cover

Question. How many of these schools have different for both Madden and College?

I am trying to think, who would Oklahoma State's guy be?

I am guessing Michigan is Braylon Edwards College, Tom Brady Madden.
Arkansas? Really??
Alabama could be many....
Texas, Vince Young and.......Vince Young?
SC...Reggie Bush and???? Keyshawn?
Texas Tech? Hmmmmm........Michael Crabtree??
Pitt. Fitz and Fitz? AD??

For Madden - Arkansas was Peyton Hillis, probably McFadden for college. OSU was Barry Sanders, I believe.

Arkansas- probably McFadden
Bama- probably Shaun Alexander and a few more
Texas- Vince Young is all I can really think of
USC - probably correct, plus leinart maybe
Texas Tech - sounds right
Pitt - Def Fitz, NCAA football ended like 6 years ago before AD

I could have sworn Vick has an NCAA cover...guess not

So Barry Sanders was more of a retro? Because he was done with the NFL by 1999 and played college in the 80's.

Barry Sanders and RG3 were both featured as a retro cover for NCAA 2013 because they added a play mode where you played as a recruit trying to win the Heisman.

Also OBJ didn’t go to Alabama.

Pitt comes up often when it comes to the impact pro players they produce. not surprising they make a list like this

Pitt has four players in the NFL 100 all time team. Only USC and Miami have more.

Pitt should have 5. How they have Revis off this list is an abomination. He was the best shit down corner for like 5 years in a pass happy league. No offense to the others on the list, but the rules (or how they were enforced) was easier for them, then Revis. Like I said an abomination.

I assume AD is off the list simply because he is a current player (yes I know Brady and Gronk are on the list). In a couple years at his current pace, he will not just be on this list but the top D player on this list regardless of position.

Well, I read this thread entirely wrong. I thought it was schools with athletes that appeared on both covers. Looks like Larry, Barry, and ALexander are the only ones with that honor.

He was on the 25 year anniversary Madden game that came out in 2014

Also remember that EA Sports was not allowed to put players who were still in college on the cover of the college football game. So, for instance, Fitzgerald made the cover the year after he left Pitt. Sanders, iirc, made the college cover the same way he made the Madden cover, they held a "voting tournament" to pick a player and Sanders won the vote.

This list is kind of a joke anyway. Pitt has 2 of the top 10 leading rushers of all time and neither are on it? Not that Terry Bradshaw belongs on it, but he beat Roger Staubach every time they played and has 4 super bowels so why is he on it? Those are the two homer issues I noticed.

It’s pretty sh*tty that after “4 super bowels”, Terry is treated like stank!
