Really great job of getting out of that jam especially because McCrum didn’t seem to have great command and was missing badly.

It seemed like when he got ahead of guys he tried to be too fine and couldn't hit his spots.

The team looks pretty solid. the transfer pitchers have been great.

Walks reared their ugly head yesterday and I am not sure Our manager is managing his pitching staff in the best manner.

As we play better teams, that and playing light hitters like Anderson and Franks could be detrimental.

The first time I saw the Pirates Jack Wilson play shortstop in person I said to myself I don’t care what his batting average is! He needs to play everyday. Defense is important!
