Pitt/Clemson Game Thread

Nice. Clemson got a penalty they needed, now we get one. Bring it back, no TD!

Uhhh, i guess the out of bounds rule and 1st to touch the ball call is different than the NFL?

Oh fck you. They lost big to Miami last week and you disappeared you douchenoggle
Yeah because unlike you I don't waste my entire existence bitching over 19 yr olds condemning them to hell and back.... it's called a life a$$ nugget

If you were an offensive player on this team I don't know how you could contain yourself from screaming bloody murder at your defense...unreal!!!

Wow. This defense is unbelievably pathetic. Just sickening. I don't care if it's Clemson, the Patriots, or Clairton, how they missed out on a sack and then gave up a completion on 3rd and 12 is just maddening. If our offense can keep it up it's gonna be a shootout today. I can realistically see over 100 combined points.

It's the same, but I was thinking the same thing. Apparently the announcer said because he was shoved out there was no call.

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!! No way that is conclusive. Just way too close.

If we get this call to make ir 20-7 it will be a modern miracle. But of course Griese is claiming otherwise so it will probably be overturned.

The camera has to show ball in hand, ball over line all in 1 shot. You can't put together 3 camera angles to make a call

Complete bullshit call.

Total garbage. Not even close to definitive. If anything it looked the ball moved right as it was about to cross. And what the referee described was the farthest thing from what happened. Now if it would've been called a TD on the field, that should've stood too. But that is just flat out disgraceful to the replay system. Disgusting.

Get lost there joined today. There was no angle that was conclusive he had possession when he crossed

They got it right on replay. Great effort by the Pitt D on that sequence inside the 5.

If it was Pitt fumbling no way they reverse the call. Again the whole ACC in the offseason need to reevaluate the referees. They suck.

Doesn't matter. The camera angle doesn't show that the ball is over the line. You're making assumptions, which is not what replay is supposed to do.
Exactly. Either way it was called could not have been overturned.

This PITT offense is looking great so far. Defense is playing OK, but needs to come up with some more stops. unfortunate call on that 4th and goal.

They do suck. But like I said, that would've been the right call too. There was nothing conclusive at all to show either thing happened for 100% certainty.
